Scooby-Doo: Origins is produced by Berlanti Productions and Midnight Radio for Warner Bros. Television. Director Toby Haynes is also on board as an executive producer.

The ensemble cast includes Mckenna Grace, Tanner Hagen, Abby Ryder Fortson, Maxwell Jenkins, Paul Walter Hauser, Sara Gilbert, and Frank Welker — who returns as the voice of Scooby-Doo himself. Development on the series was first reported in April 2024 and officially announced in March 2025.
