A Quiet Place Part III Filming Across New York City Through Summer 2026

John Krasinski confirmed in May that cameras are rolling on A Quiet Place Part III across New York City, marking the franchise’s return to the location at the center of its 2024 prequel. Krasinski shared the first production photo on Instagram — the film’s slate in front of the Manhattan Bridge Arch and Colonnade in Chinatown — with a simple caption: “Here. We. Go!”

The film reunites the core franchise cast: Emily Blunt returns as Evelyn Abbott, Cillian Murphy as Emmett, and Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe as Regan and Marcus. New additions include Jack O’Connell as a soldier, Katy O’Brian, and Jason Clarke. Cinematography duties go to Arnau Valls Colomer, stepping in for the previous installments’ DP.

Krasinski writes, directs, and produces, with Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes also producing. Paramount Pictures distributes. The film moves the action from the rural upstate New York of the first two installments into the city itself — territory previewed in 2024’s A Quiet Place: Day One.

A Quiet Place Part III opens in theaters on July 30, 2027. The production is keeping New York-based crew working through summer 2026 and represents one of the highest-profile US-based shoots of the year.
