Hayden Panettiere, Star of Heroes and Nashville, Dies at 36

Hayden Panettiere, the actress whose career spanned more than three decades and included starring roles in Heroes and Nashville, has died at the age of 36.

Panettiere’s representative confirmed her death, while her father, Skip Panettiere, released a statement mourning his daughter and asking for privacy for the family. She died in South Carolina on August 16, 2026. Authorities have said the investigation remains ongoing.  

Panettiere would have celebrated her 37th birthday on August 21.
