Founding Fractional Videographer / Documentarian Equity-Based Founding RoleRemote – Must be located in Minnesota, U.S.8-12 hours per week Reports to: Senior Director, Creative Media About Oh! The Foundation (501(c)(3) reinvests profits and donations into programs that protect, support, and uplift children who have experienced abuse or neglect. From early ideas to lasting impact, we document the real work as it unfolds. The Role We are seeking a Founding Fractional Videographer / Documentarian to help visually capture the evolution of Oh! Love Ya Dawn across both the Company and the Foundation. This role blends creative storytelling with careful documentation. You will capture brand shoots, interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, events, and early-stage program work, with a strong emphasis on authenticity, presence, and care. This is a hands-on founding role for someone who brings steadiness, curiosity, and discernment to evolving environments. As an early creative partner, you will help shape the visual record and narrative legacy of the organization from day one. What You’ll Do Visual Storytelling & Documentation Film and edit short- and long-form video content documenting the people, work, and programs of Oh! Love Ya Dawn across both entities Capture a balance of polished brand content and raw, documentary-style footage that reflects real moments and lived experience Conduct and film interviews, events, and behind-the-scenes creative sessions Brand & Campaign Content Coordinate and execute video shoots for brand campaigns and product storytelling, particularly for Edie’s Dawn Coffee and Hidden Hearts Apparel Maintain a consistent visual tone aligned with the Oh! Love Ya Dawn brand: warm, grounded, emotionally resonant, and human Edit content for social platforms, internal use, partner sharing, and long-term archival storytelling Collaboration & Asset Stewardship Collaborate closely with the Senior Director, Creative Media and Communications partners to ensure cohesive visual storytelling Build, organize, and maintain an internal library of video assets for future campaigns, partnerships, and press use Support evolving creative workflows as the organization grows Foundation Program Documentation Document early-stage Foundation programs, including initiatives such as Micro-Miracles and Livvy’s Path Approach all filming with sensitivity to dignity, consent, safeguarding standards, and child-centered best practices Equipment & Tools At this stage, candidates are expected to use their own video and editing equipment, including camera, lighting, audio, and editing software. As the organization grows and funding allows, equipment investment or reimbursement may become available to support production needs. What You Bring Located in or near the Twin Cities metro area, with the ability to travel occasionally to Delano, Minnesota Demonstrated experience filming and editing using DSLR, mirrorless, or mobile equipment Strong documentary instincts and the ability to capture candid, meaningful moments independently Proficiency with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms Experience working in mission-driven, community, or advocacy-adjacent spaces Comfort navigating environments connected to child advocacy with care, discretion, and respect Who You Are Grounded, observant, and thoughtful in your work. You value presence over perfection, approach storytelling with humility, and understand that how something is documented matters as much as what is captured. You are comfortable shaping creative systems still in progress and contributing to work that blends art, responsibility, and impact.
