HSE is committed to positively impacting the Charlotte community by fostering connection, inclusion, and engagement through sports and live entertainment.The HSE Video Production Intern will support the video team throughout all phases of production, including pre-production, on-site shoots, and post-production. Responsibilities include assisting with equipment setup and breakdown, organizing and achieving footage, and contributing to event recap videos, department sizzles and content.This is a paid, in-person internship. Interns will be paid $15.00 per hour, with the ability to work a minimum of twenty (20), maximum of thirty (30) hours per week. HSE does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLog, organize, and archive video clips to maintain accurate and accessible media libraries.Assist with production shoot setup, breakdown, and on-site supportSupport the creation of marketing, partnership, and community impact video contentAssist with pre-game and post-game video operations to ensure smooth workflowsParticipate fully in the internship program, including workshops, executive speaker series, job shadowing, and an intern projectPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills, Experience, And AbilitiesTo perform this role successfully, the candidate should demonstrate the following competencies:Basic understanding of video production workflows.Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills, particularly in media managementExperience with basic video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred)Ability to assist with production setup, including cameras, audio, and lightingAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWillingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and game daysAbility to lift and move basic production equipmentAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive informationStrong teamwork skills with the ability to manage individual responsibilitiesPrevious internship or experience in video, media, or content creation preferredExperience in sports or live event environments preferredAbility to travel to off-site events and campaignsFamiliarity with sports, live events, or social media video content preferredCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university pursuing a degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferredMale collegiate basketball players must have exhausted their NCAA eligibility before participating in the HSE internship program.
