Job DetailsDescriptionPay: $23.14-$32.96GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Production staff must be imaginative, have awareness of current fashions and trends in the visual arts particularly the film/video industry, working knowledge of the latest computer packages, video equipment and an understanding of material costs and time limits. Must have knowledge of film/video lighting. Job requires being reliable, responsible, dependable and creative. Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks in a deadline driven environment. Perform any other duties as directed by managementEXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED: Pre-production: production coordinating, logistical planning, obtaining releases, preparing and maintaining equipment, and contacting sub-contractors and vendors. Production: Light and grip, media wrangling, teleprompting, audio rigging, and some camera operation. Post-production: editing and motion graphics, color balancing & correction; Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running commercials; input music, dialogs, graphics, and effects; Position will also maintain Digital Signage Network, create and maintain traffic programming, create graphic and/or motion content, distribute content, and encode. Will work directly with customers and employees across all departments, and use excellent customer relations; any other duties as requested by management.EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Must have substantial knowledge of Mac and PC OS, including some command prompt and terminal knowledge. Networking, protocol, and language knowledge necessary. Must have knowledge of Adobe programs, such as Photoshop and After Effects. Knowledge in Illustrator and InDesign preferred. Must have outstanding communications skills, able to communicate visually, verbally, writing, and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines.PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs occasionally, and 10 lbs constantly.Work Environment: Indoor climate controlled environment; some outdoor work necessary.Mathis Home promotes and maintains a drug-free work environment.
