Knife Drop Studios, the production company behind celebrity chef and social media personality Nick DiGiovanni, is hiring a Colorist to shape the visual identity and cinematic quality of our longform and shortform content across YouTube and social platforms.Who we’re looking forWe’re looking for a highly detail-oriented, creative, and technically skilled Colorist with proven experience grading content professionally for YouTube and social media, ideally with a focus on food. This role is perfect for someone who understands how color impacts appeal, energy, and storytelling, and knows how to make food look rich, natural, and crave-worthy while maintaining consistency across a high-volume content pipeline.You should have 3-5+ years of professional color grading experience, with strong instincts for creating vibrant, clean, and visually compelling images optimized for phones, laptops, and TVs. You know how to bring out the texture, warmth, and vibrancy of food without it feeling artificial, and have experience working efficiently in fast-paced creator or digital media environments.Who you’ll work withYou’ll work closely with Nick DiGiovanni, editors, producers, and the wider post-production team to ensure color enhances video quality and story, while also helping define and maintain a consistent visual identity across channels.What you’ll bring to the team3-5+ years of professional color grading experience for YouTube, social media, TV, or filmExpert proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and strong understanding of color workflows and log footageProven ability to grade food in a way that looks vibrant, natural, and crave-worthyStrong understanding of color theory, exposure, contrast, skin tones, and shot matchingAbility to create clean, polished grades optimized for YouTube across phones, laptops, and TVsExperience collaborating with editors and producers in fast-paced creator or digital media environmentsExcellent attention to detail for color consistency, skin tones, and maintaining a clean, natural imageReliable availability and ability to maintain consistent quality and turnaround across a high-volume content pipeline
