Create is hiring a Studio Director to build and lead our in-house production engine. This person will own the full spectrum of video creation—from concept to shoot to final delivery—and shape how Create shows up across every channel. The ideal candidate blends creative instincts with production rigor: someone who can direct talent, write smart scripts, manage budgets, and run a tight set. You’ll be the first Studio Director at Create and will build a high-functioning team around a fast-moving content system.What You'll DoBuild the production system: Architect a scalable, efficient operation designed for high-volume, omni-channel CPG storytelling.Direct and produce: Lead shoots end-to-end, occasionally stepping in as producer/director/writer to ensure quality and speed.Manage partners: Oversee agencies, directors, and external collaborators; lead local shoots when needed.Build the team: Recruit, manage, and develop a small hybrid crew of full-time staff and NYC-based freelancers.Own creative quality: Maintain a high bar across all video and graphic outputs.Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with channel leads to deliver content tailored to paid, organic, retail, and experiential needs.Run the shop: Oversee budgets, resources, scheduling, and equipment across a high-velocity content environment.Requirements5–10 years working with brands in fast-paced, high-volume video production environments.Creative + production hybrid with fluency in set operations, equipment, call sheets, and workflows.Short-form digital native; TV-level production experience is a plus.Studio-head mentality—strong on budgets, stronger on taste.Deep network of NYC freelancers and crew.Film school or similar training preferred; production-first backgrounds strongly favored.Systems thinker who can build processes that scale with the business.If you want to build the creative studio that powers one of the fastest-growing CPG brands, this is the role.BenefitsCompetitive compensation including salary and equityFully-paid health, dental, and vision insuranceDowntown Manhattan office (4 days in office), with flexible work setup and 15 days of PTOWhy You’ll Love Working HereAt Create Wellness, we’re building a category-defining wellness brand that helps people feel their best every day.
