Our members work in film, television, commercials, news, sports, and new media.RESPONSIBILITIES:What You’ll DoThe Signatories assistant will be a part of a department that gets companies and projects signed (“making them signatory”) to the Basic Agreement, FLTTA, and National Commercial Agreement. Signatories department field inquiries from members and producers regarding what it means to be a DGA signatory company and DGA-covered project. To better assist the department, the Signatories department seeks an assistant that will work independently and in a team setting to proactively support the executive in charge of Signatories and the assistant administrator by streamlining tasks and reducing their workload. Key responsibilities include preparing documents and supporting special projects. The Administrative Assistant will also perform various administrative duties as needed. This role is onsite only and based in the headquarters in Los Angeles.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ability to multi-task and handle different projects at onceHandle heavy phones for executive in charge of Signatories, assistant administrator, and representativesSchedule virtual and in-person meetingsAnswer member/producer questions and intermediate between them and other staffFile and renew UCC and USCO recordations with the US Copyright Office and applicable Secretaries of StateTrack and procure archival project and company records from storage as neededHandle the department’s correspondence, manage and order supplies when neededOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:What You’ll NeedMinimum 2-3 years of office and/or administrative experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in MS Word and ExcelAbility to prioritize tasks within a deadline-drive environmentAbility to collaborate inter-departmentallyAn established interest and understanding of entertainment and/or organized laborWhat You’ll GetCompany paid Medical, Dental, and Vision for employees and low-cost premium for dependentsPension401(k) and 401(k) matchingFlexible spending accountLife insuranceGenerous PTOLong Term Disability InsuranceWork Life BalanceThe annual salary for this position is $45,000 The DGA is an equal opportunity employer.
