Position: Production AssistantContract: Seasonal (May 11th-August 28th)Department: Event ProductionRole Overview:  Reporting to the Technical Director the Production Assistant is an hourly, entry level role that assists with various production needs during the operation of the Summer for the City 2026 summer festival. This work will take place in Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts venues including, Josie Robertson Plaza, Hearst Plaza, David Rubenstein Atrium, David Geffen Hall, and Alice Tully Hall.What you’ll get to do here: Gain hands-on experience working at a large-scale music and arts festivalAssist the production team with managing production inventory and assetsOnsite coordination from May 2026 through August 2026Assist the Technical Direction team in site organizationCover the various working hours for the operation of the festival, including nights and weekends.You’ll be a fit if you bring:  A desire to gain hands-on experience in festival production operationsThe ability to work independently or as part of a teamAn interest in gaining experience with various departmentsEntry level comprehension of technical equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbsExcellent attention to detailA valid driver’s licenseWhat is Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts?Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) is the world’s leading performing arts center in the heart of New York City.
