We are committed to excellence, innovation, and craft - and we are looking for a Music Producer to join our team.Role OverviewAs a Music Producer at Q Department, you will oversee the full production process from pre-production through final delivery, working closely with our creative, production, and client teams to craft original music, sound design, mixes, interactive sound, and sonic branding for commercials, films, trailers and interactive or immersive experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage projects from brief to delivery, ensuring timelines and expectations are met.Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners throughout all stages of production.Liaise with agency and brand clients on schedule scope, creative direction, budgets, and timelines.Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships.Coordinate with creative directors, sales teams, and external vendors.Handle project administration, including bids, POs, invoices, and contracts.Schedule and run project calls and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.Bring solutions-oriented thinking to challenges and look for ways to improve workflow and outcomes.Maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure, fast-turnaround environments.Key QualificationsProven experience in commercial music, film, and/or advertising production, with existing industry relationships.Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.Deep understanding of audio post-production workflows and services.Ability to collaborate closely with sales and business teams to help support growth.Strong technical and creative understanding of broadcast, film, and interactive mediums.Highly adaptable, comfortable with technology, and grounded in broad musical knowledge.Experience with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like ProTools considered a plus.RequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience in a related industry (music, post-production, advertising, or film).Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Willingness to work flexible hours as needed in a post-production environment.Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking across multiple projects.Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and motivated by growth opportunities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Comfortable interfacing directly with agency and brand clients.Proactive in using new tools and technology to improve workflow efficiency.
