Through consistent scaling, we’ve surpassed 125,000 subscribers on our YouTube channel, and produce a variety of in-house marketing videos, which include newsletters, case studies, ads, product launch announcements, educational tutorials, podcasts, and more. We’re looking to bring on a full-time, junior-level video editor who can help with production of these types of videos, enabling us to expand our output of quality in-house content. This is an on-site role, reporting to the Creative Director.The key objectives of this role include but are not limited toHelp edit, produce and occasionally film all in-house video content, including:Perform post-production duties such as reviewing footage, editing, rough cut assembly, color correction, audio adjustment, and final exportingCreate simple motion graphics using screen recordings with the Jotform brand and aesthetic styleOccasionally set up and record on-site video productions in our San Francisco office video studiosBonus: Ability to elevate sometimes dry/educational subject matter to be visually engaging and impactful for our audienceOversee creative video projects and take ownership of production when necessaryCollaborate closely with video team, team lead, and other marketing departments to align on video initiatives, including ads, tutorials, announcements, newsletters, and moreBecome an expert on Jotform, from our product capabilities to the look and feel of our brand and visual guidelinesOrganize and manage all produced content on the Jotform server and collaboration platforms (e.g. Trello/Asana)What do you need to be successful?2 years of editing experience either for a company or in schoolStrong proficiency/familiarity in most, if not all of the following: Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, Screen Capture SoftwareNice to have: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Pro Tools, Audition, Red Giant Suite/Universe, Color Correction Knowledge (DaVinci Resolve, Magic Bullet), Encoding Knowledge (Media Encoder, Handbrake)Proficiency in creating simple to complex animation using After EffectsA solid foundation in the principals of animation and how they can be utilized to create visually engaging workExperience with recording equipment such as cinema cameras, video cameras, audio recorders, microphones, and various lighting equipmentTeam-player mentality to flexibly collaborate on broader video initiatives with the rest of the video team and other departmentsAbility to balance work on various ongoing initiatives at the same time, and prioritize projects according to department needsProficient time management and organizational skillsPortfolio of past work with specific details about your contributionsCompensation, Perks & BenefitsBase pay range: $75K - $85K.
