2d Restaurant is Chicago’s first hand-drawn manga café, blending immersive design with playful food experiences. We’re known for our mochi donuts, interactive workshops, and themed pop-ups — all designed to be as visually fun as they are delicious.
*Role Overview:*
We’re looking for a creative *videographer/content creator* who can bring the magic of 2d to life through short-form video. This person will capture behind-the-scenes moments, food prep, workshops, pop-up events, and customer experiences — then edit them into polished, shareable content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
*Responsibilities:*
* Film engaging, high-quality video content in-store and at events
* Edit videos into compelling short-form clips (10–60 seconds) with text, music, and effects
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative ideas for campaigns
* Stay on top of TikTok/Instagram trends and apply them to 2d content
* Organize and manage digital assets for easy reuse
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience in videography + editing (portfolio required)
* Strong skills in editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)
* Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and social-first content styles
* Creative eye for storytelling and detail
* Comfortable filming in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
* Bonus: Photography skills
