Job Title
You will be the matchmaker between character and performer, shaping the emotional core of the production through inspired casting choices. As Casting Director, you’ll collaborate with the director and producers to interpret the script’s character breakdowns, organize auditions, and identify talent that brings authenticity, chemistry, and nuance to the screen. May include work on feature films, documentaries, commercials, explainer videos, promotional videos, social media video, etc. You’ll manage outreach to agents, negotiate deals, and ensure diversity and representation align with the creative vision. Whether discovering fresh faces or securing seasoned stars, your instincts and network will help build a cast that elevates the story and resonates with audiences. Casting may include video and/or audio (e.g., voice over) performers. This is a 1099 position that may be full-time, part-time, or intermittent based on the desire of the individual and the availability of work. Work is primarily remote.
